I’m With Her

This primary was honestly life-changing. Sen. Bernie Sanders and his “Political Revolution” have sparked new energy and passion into American politics. I’m proud to have given my heart and soul to an honest leader, working to create a strong, progressive platform that works for all of us. I have had the absolute pleasure of working alongside some of the most dedicated individuals and civil servants. In a nominating process that was against us at every turn, we managed to continue to fight for the values we hold so dearly. I know it’s hard to deal with and understand. A lot of us feel knocked down or betrayed. However, it is in these times of emotional turmoil that we have the most opportunity for growth. We have the power to rise above the few differences that separate us and embrace the ideals that we share. This election was not a loss but a victory, for these progressive values, and for the millions of hardworking Americans who share them. I refuse to subscribe to the fear-mongering, and I’m choosing to vote, not out of fear, but rather out of love. Now is not the time to quit. We’ve already put in so much work, and we owe it to this movement to continue to fight. We have to push this platform, the most progressive yet, all the way to the White House. We have to work hard and elect more progressives down-ballot. We have the momentum, and I’m looking forward to future successes. I’m with Her, and the continued effort to further advance a platform that works for all of us.
